As part of its celebrations of National Organic Fortnight 2009, Natures Corner is giving local people the chance to find out more about the health, environmental and social benefits of using organic produce and also the opportunity to win an organic veggie box for every week of the year.
Speaking about the event, which runs from the 5th to 19th September, store Owner Caroline Withers said: “We are looking forward to talking to customers about the benefits of an organic lifestyle. We realise that buying organic may cost a little extra, but at Natures Corner, business is booming, which reflects how our customers value their health and enjoy the added flavour of buying organic.
“As well as daily sampling sessions, there are some exciting new products including a gluten free baking range and Montezuma’s drinking chocolate. With the closure of the Montezuma shop in Newbury last year, fans of the fabulous tasting chocolate can rest assured that it can still be enjoyed locally.
