Guardian April Fool's Day poster gives flavour of the Election
We had to chuckle about The Guardian's April Fool's Day effort - this cracking poster of a menacing looking Gordon Brown with the legend 'STEP OUTSIDE POSH BOY' was plausible enough to fool many.
It is also a clear illustration of the flavour the forthcoming General Election will bring. Social media combined with increased accessibility to Photoshop and free equivalents will ensure spoof posters galore will be appearing throughout the campaign and will almost instantly parody genuine posters and adverts.
