#followfriday blog focuses on 4Networking folk who Twitter

It’s the Morgan PR #followfriday blog and once again we are ready to bring you a selection of Twitters we think you should be following; this time they are all members of the 4Networking organisation.

It seemed fitting to focus on 4N as this morning your host @nigel_morgan will be venturing into the real world and talking Twitter and the Top 10 Tips for Newbies at 4N in Abingdon!

Our blogging experiment, inspired by Twitter guru @NikkiPilkington, where we spare Twitter and our thousands of followers the overload of #followfriday recommendations is now a month old and consistently proves one of our most popular posts of the week.

We follow the good 'Twetiquette' of avoiding meaningless lists and explain why we think people should be followed. #followfriday messages that do explain are far more likely to be followed – and get you followed, which after all is the objective!

Now, those who belong to 4Networking will know that its website has a great forum where members swap ideas and help one another, and it is great to see some of the most abundant members on 4N also venture out on to Twitter – and of course to 4N meetings!

It is perhaps significant that I have met all but one of the Twitters mentioned today, which just goes to show that Twitter is just part of the mix.

Brad Burton, 4Networking, TwitterThe eponymous @BradBurton has to be my first choice. Founder of 4Networking and relentlessly living the dream, Brad is prolific on Twitter and rarely misses the chance to reply to other Twitters who mention 4N, and to promote other members. He is also a regular at the 200 4N group meetings across the UK. A dynamic powerhouse and a fun guy worthy of #followfriday

Gary Gorman on TwitterSales trainer @GaryGorman is the only Twitter I’ve not met in this list – but it feels like I have! His support on Twitter and also blogging was been terrific and he is really abundant, sharing his sales-edged Twitter expertise through his blog, and also his website. Gary has invited me to his 4N group in Lincolnshire and I reckon it is worth the trip – and he is worth a #followfriday.

Kim Hambley on TwitterNow such is his reputation I almost feel that @MrKimHambley needs no introduction! I was quietly aware of Kim Retweeting me and had little idea the Fonz lookalike was actually one of the legendary Travellings 4Burys (with @ollyculverhouse, @Ken_Abbott and Chris Cherill). He is a moderately crazy and fun guy, truly gets Twitter and you should #followfriday him and ideally meet him in person too!

Duncan MacGregor on TwitterWeb designer and surf due @DuncanMacGregor is someone I met at 4NCirencester and is as friendly and fun on Twitter as he is in real life. Answers questions, merrily RTs the good stuff and has not lost site that Twitter is about social networking and should be fun, even if you do us it for business too! So he is our penultimate #followfriday of the week.

Dorrian Carrington, TwitterLast but by no means least is the lovely @photolass, also known as Dorrian Carrington of photographers D&D Carrington and 4N Time Lord (she freezes time!). She has endeared herself to me by freely sharing the photographs she has taken at 4N meetings we have both been at, which I have published on this blog. That neatly illustrates why you should #followfriday her! So what do you think?

As ever we love to know your thoughts so please do comment!
